Show Third Ward Relief Society Holds Opening Social Third Ward Relief Society open- . ing social was held at the home of Ruby Fugal Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 1:30 pm. when a large group enjoyed en-joyed a fine program and delilious light lunch. Among outstanding numbers on the program was a special tribute given by Ruby Fugal to Sisters ', Margaret Shoell and Ellen Sjoberg I who have been visiting teachers for 45 years. The tribute was given in rhyme with stories and pictures of their early life. j Sisters Fern Nielson and Venice Jeppson were also honored with a gift for 'their outstanding work. A vocal solo, "Little Old Lady" was sung by Nancy Marble, accompanied accompan-ied by Amanda Wadley. Mary Deveraux and Elsie Ring-ger Ring-ger sang "Whispering," accompanied accompan-ied by Donna Randall. Winona Christianson showed some veiy outstanding films of their trip to the northwest and also al-so autumn scenes over the Alpine Loop. |
