Show Dairy Cattle to Be Tested for Tuberculosis Soon "In order to guarantee a safe milk supply all dairy cattle should be tcstei now for Tuberculosis," said Dr. Jay A. Peterson, Federal Veterinarian, in charge of animal disease eradication in Utah County. Coun-ty. Dr. Peterson emphasized the fact that Tuberculosis may readily be passed on from infected dairy cows to the users of the milk. Dr. Peterson stated that all farmers far-mers or others who own dairy cattle should write to the Utah County Agriculture Agent giving their name, address and the number num-ber of dairy cattle to be tested. This Information is vitally necessary neces-sary in order that a schedule may be drawn up and that no dairy cattle will be missed. "The completion of this testing program will help make Utah County a better and safer dairy area." pr. Peterson concluded. |
