Show Funeral Held in California for A. Lamar Hadley Mr. and Mrs. N. C. Urie returned return-ed Sunday from a week's trip to California where on Tuesday they attended the funeral of their son-in-law, Arlen Lamar Hadley, who died Saturday, Sept. 14 at the home of his parents, Mr .and Mrs. Lamar E. Hadley at Earstow, California Cali-fornia after a long illness. Mr. Hadley was born Seipt 22, 1930 at Winnemucca, Nevada. He received his education at Barstow Union High School and Brigham Young University. He served on a mission for the LDS Church in the Northwestern States in 1950-52 and from 1954 until 1956 served a tour of duty with the U.S. Army, part of the time being spent in Germany. Ger-many. Before entering the army he married Shirley Ann Urie. She, with a little daughter, Jill, survive. sur-vive. Also surviving are his parents, par-ents, and three brothers, Jack, Jan and Gregory, all of Barstow. During their stay in California Mr. and Mrs. Urie spent one day in Los Angeles. Leaving Barstow on Saturday, 'they spent the night at Cedar City and on Sunday visited vis-ited at Minersville with Mrs. Urie's unoles Stephen and Andrew Hol-lingshead. |
