GREEN Incumbent Councilman PAUL FORDHAM Local Garageman TV Discussion Tonight Set For Junior High The Pleasant Grove PTA Council Coun-cil and the Alpine Education Association As-sociation have been conducting a weekly TV discussion series in cooperatin with the educational TV station KUED. The title of the series is "Citizens, Look to Your Schools." The discussion has been under the direction of the school education chairman of each local PTA unit and Paul WiUes, School Education Chairman Chair-man for the Pleasant Grove PTA Council. Each Thursday night, beginning begin-ning at 8 p.m. in the library of the Pleasant Grove Junior High School, an interested group of parents and teachers gather to discuss the subject that has been designated for the' week. The subject tonight, Thursday, Oct. 22, will be "Should Our Schools be Concerned with the Pursuit of Excellence?" If you are interested, come prepared to discuss such items as: "Equality of Excellence," "The Kind of Report Cards We Should Have," "Report Cards and Pro-i Pro-i motion," "Diplomas, Varieties, & Their Meaning," "The Complexity of Society and the Consequent Burden on Schools," Central School PTA will be in charge of the Thursday night discussion.
