Dairymen of Pleasant Grove Trying To Cut Down Automobile Accidents Dairymen In the Pleasant Grove area are going to try to cut down automobile accidents and at the same time sell more milk. This week dairymen of this area will join others of the state in placing a "day-glow" sign on the bumpers of their cars. The signs, which have been prepared by the Utah Milk Foundation, are printed in a brilliant red on a black back ground, and read: "Stay Alert Drink Milk." Eugene Pace, foundation president, presi-dent, said that 5,000 of the signs have been prepared. They are being be-ing distributed to dairymen thru the four large milk producer organizations or-ganizations of the state: Federated Milk Producers, Hi-Land Dairy Association, As-sociation, Weber Central Dairy Association, and aCche Valley Dairy Association. "It is a well known fact that milk drinking helps reduce fatigue," fa-tigue," Mr. Pace said. "This is just one of milk's many benefits, and besides, in Utah milk tests high in extra flavor and purity. |
