Show NOTICE OF INTENTION Notice is herevy given by the City Council of Pleasant Grove City, Utah of the intention of such City Council to make the following follow-ing described special improvements to wit: To grade and construct of Portland cement, a sidewalk four feet in width, on the West side only of the following street: Locust Lo-cust Avenue commencing at 6th South and running thence southeasterly south-easterly to a point which is 100 feet southeasterly from the Northeast North-east corner of the lot belonging to Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Lemon, which said point is approximately at 8th South on Locust Ave. The following named persons own property prop-erty abutting on the proposed sidewalk, side-walk, to wit: Ralph R. Cherring-ton, Cherring-ton, Mr. and Mrs. John E. Thornton, Thorn-ton, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Brady, Mr. and Mrs. Bill G. Gardiner, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Madsen, Mr. and Mrs. Blain Brailsford, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Lemon, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Harper. Said proposed improvements shall be designated as Sidewalk Paving District No. 4. The total estimated cost of such improvements is $1808.00. The abutter's portion of such costs is estimated at $1,525.50 and the City's portion is estimated at $282.50. The estimated costs per front or lineal foot of property abutting on said proposed sidewalk is $1.35 per front foot. The abutters portion of the cost and expenses of said improvements will be paid for by a special assessment assess-ment on all lots, parcels and pieces of land to be affected and benefited bene-fited by such improvements, and abutting on said sidewalk, such assessment as-sessment to be made according to the number of front feet abutting on said sidewalk. All protests or objections to such improvements or to tlie carrying out of such intention must be in writing, signed by the owners of the property affected, describing the same, together with the number num-ber of front feet represented and filed with the city recorder on or before the 6th day of November, 1954. The city council at its first meeting thereafter, to wit: On the 8th day of November, 1954 at the hour of 8 p.m. in the City Hall in Pleasant Grove, Utah will hear and consider such protests and objections objec-tions to said improvements as shall have been made.
