Show Relief Societies To Give Programs Sunday Evening Throughout Timpanogos Stake this Sunday, the programs for evening ev-ening services will be given by the Reief Societies of the separate wards. The theme and the program pro-gram has been set by the General Board and will be followed in each ward with minor variations. The theme has been given as "O ye that embark in the service of God, see that ye serve him with all your heart, might, mind and strength, that ye may stand blameless blame-less before God at the last day" (D&C. 4:2). In the Second ward services will begin at 5:30 p.m. with President Mildred Walker in charge. Singing will be led by the chorister and invication will be given by Sylvia Peterson. "Jesus the Very Thought of Thee," will be sung by the singing mothers. A tak "What Shall I Ask of My Heavenly Father," Beth Mc- Ness; Introduction to theme song, 1st Scriptural reading, Mildred Allen, 2nd biographical sketch of writer of the song and the composer com-poser of the music, LaVerle Makin; 3rd reading of the words of the theme song, Maybell Jense. The singing mothers will then sing the theme song, "O May I Know the Lord as Friend." A talk "O May I Grow to Love to give and for the help of others live, "counselor Ethel Allen. Closing Clos-ing song by congregation, "More Holiness Give Me." and benediction will be given by Martha Peterson. In the Grove ward the theme will be followed. An introductory talk "What Shall I Give to My Heavenly Father?" will be given by Relief Society Counselor La Priel Oscarson. An introduction to the theme song will be given by Dorothy Taylor and the biographical bio-graphical sketch and reading of the words of the song will be given by Helen Wells, chorister. The talk "Oh May I Grow to Ivov? to Give and for the Help of Others Live" will be given by Lola Bullock. |
