Show Fall Really Here As Cool, Cool Weather Arrives Fall was in the air when this report was written early Tuesday morning. At 5 a.m. the mercury stood at 44 degrees, which is the lowest recording sine; last spring. The -skies were clear Tuesday morning; and the weather forecasters fore-casters predicted that conditions would continue on the cool side, with a chance of some thunder shower activity in the afternoons after-noons for the next few days. However, the long-range forecast predicts above normal temperatures tempera-tures and below normal precipitation precipi-tation for September. . Pear harvest is in full swing with peaches to follow in a few days. The pear crop is light due to poor polination last spring. Peaches will be plentiful axid of good quality. Tomatoes, beans and com are currently being processed in the local and Provo plants of the Pleasant Grove Canning Co. The bulk of the tomatoes are going into chili sauce.
