Show Lindon Mutual Has Special Treasure Hunt on Tuesday Tuesday evening the Lindon Mutual Mu-tual group enjoyed a special treasure treas-ure hunt as an opening social for the coming season. This was an outstanding autumn social and the entire Mutual participated. The well planned treasure hunt was conducted by the activity counselors, Arch Brady and Irene Osteigaard. Three Captains and three assistants were appointed and as the members gathered for the opening exercises at the Lindon ward, each were pinned with a card specifying which group they would join later on. Following the opening exercises each group gathered outside the building and searched through nine clues to the buried treasures. Each group dug their own treasure and then joined the other groups at Lindon Park for a tasty barbecue hamburger. These were served by Miriam Ash, Emma Christiansen, and Edna Stevens. President Thel-ma Thel-ma Jensen served root beer to go with sandwiches. Group singing around the bonfire bon-fire was enjoyed under the direction direc-tion of Archie Wasden, accompanied accompan-ied by Mae Jacklin on her accordion. accord-ion. This was a fun evening enjoyed en-joyed and participated in by the entire mutual. |
