Show Riding Club Holds Meeting in Lindon Park Bldg. Ray Viklund has been selected by members of the Pleasant Grove Riding Club to replace Amell Peterson as the club's district representative. rep-resentative. Amc.U will leave Mar. 16 to serve with the National Guard. Conducted by President Gordon Taylor, the monthly business meeting meet-ing was held in the Lindon Park building Tuesday evening and attended at-tended by 21 pei-sons. Former drilimaster Kenneth R. Gillman, was elected t represent the Pleasant Grove Club at the district judges' school. Selected to canvas the city for girls 16 years and elder to nin as queen candidates for Pleasant Grove Strawberry Days Rodfo were Dean Adams and Howard Green. Mr. and Mrs. Dean and Mr. and Mrs. Bryce Adams were placed on a committee to choose a nr-w riding club outfit for club members. Following business the group was entertained by Dale Peterson of the Lehi Riding Club who showed show-ed pictures of a wild horse chase. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold R.ay Greene and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Robinson were in charge of the program and refreslnnents. The club is planning a farewell party in the near future for Arnell. |
