McGinnls, both of Pleasant Grove. In the Holman car were Mrs. Max Ingersoll, Mrs. Harold Holman Hol-man and Lee Holman. Mr. Mc-Ginnis Mc-Ginnis was alone in his vehicle. Occupants of both cars were badly shaken up and received bumps and bruises. Mrs. Ingersoll suffered a probably broken nose. Both cars were demolished and citations were pending further investigation. in-vestigation. Chief Newman stated that poor visibility may have been a contributing con-tributing oause of some of the recent re-cent intersection accidents; but the chief cause is lack of alterness on the part of middle-age or older drivers. "Some people regard city driving driv-ing as a relaxed activity. This is not true," said Chief Newman. He explained that safety on city streets is the result of alertness and eternal vigilance. "Road signs are installed for a purpose. Obey them," he concluded. |
