Work on the project has been donated by Jaycees and others. The building will be a definite asset to the community. Jaycees Near Completion on Community Building at Ball Park; Vandals Break Windows During the past -week much progress pro-gress was made on the Jaycee Community Building being built at the ball park. The roof is now on except for one end, which will be completed in the near future, as soon as the chimney is in place. Last Saturday a beautiful fireplace was constructed. When completed, this building will be available to all clubs and groups who desire to use it and will be a valuable asset to the community. During the past few weeks however, how-ever, there have been several windows win-dows broken and other acts of destruction. Some, no doubt, have been accidental, while others have not. It is sincerely hoped that all citizens of Pleasant Grove will help make this building a project which will be for the betterment of the city and discourage any future acts of destruction if it is possible to do so. The Jaycees recently enjoyed a canyon party at which several new members and prospective members and their wives were present. The Jaycee orgunization, under the leadership of J. H. Harvey ,is steadily increasing activity and membership. All young men in this area ages 21-36 are invited to come out to Jaycee meetings, both work meeting's and planning meetings meet-ings ,and to take an active part in this civic club for young men. |
