Show Vocational School Now Registering For Evening Classes Registration currently in progress pro-gress will continued daily 8 a.m. through 5 p.m. until Sept. 30 at the Central Utah Vocational School Evening School. Students may also register daily Monday through Thursday evenings from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Classes will begin Oct. 3, 1955, according to Mable Olson, School Registrar. Classes will be scheduled Monday Mon-day through Thursday nights, 7 to 10 p.m. and all day Saturdays. Donald L .Manson, Chairman of the Evening School anticipates a large enrollment and states that the Evening School provides for the acquisition of additional skills and knowledge by people who are already employed in the trade. Special classes for the apprentices and journeyman are organized whenever the number of students warrant it. Re-training is frequently fre-quently necessary because of phanges in business and industry or because people were inadequately inadequate-ly prepared for some types of employment. em-ployment. Whenever the demand exists, special classes are organized organiz-ed for retraining or to prepare personnel per-sonnel for special needs in business busi-ness and industry. Classes for women are held in accounting, business law, drafting, a full business course, including type, advanced shorthand, hi-speed longhand, and office machines. Classes for men include building build-ing trades, electrical trades, automotive auto-motive and mechanical trades, and technical and engineering aids as well as accounting and vocational agriculture classes. |
