Show 4-H Qirls Sponsor Fountain in Lindon City Park Doing away with an unsigtly piece of pipe to which an ordinary tap was attached, four Fifth year 4-H girls raised enough money this summer to buy material necessary nec-essary to construct a modem flagstone flag-stone drinking fountain in the Lindon Lin-don City Park. To obtain the necessary nec-essary funds for this worthwhile project, the girls held three cake sales at one Orem and tvo Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove stores under the direction direc-tion of their leader, LaNeve Mc-Candless. Holda-way Holda-way donated and layed the stone. Blaine Batty also contributed time and effort toward the completion of the attractive drinking fountain. The four girls, or Fourettes, as they. call themselves, who planned the convenience for park visitors are Connie and Sally Johnson, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Johnson; Joy Cullimore, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Cullimore and Neola Gillman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reed Gillman. |
