Show Legion Birthday Party Held in American Fork Over 200 Legionaires and ladies of the Auxiliary attended the annual an-nual American Legion District IV Birthday party Wednesday night. The affair was held at the Legion Hall in American Fork. The dinner and the entertainment entertain-ment which followed was sponsored sponsor-ed by the American Fork Legion and auxiliary Post 49, under the chairmanship of Commander Richard Rich-ard Healy and President Leah Green. A group of 20 students from the Brigham Young University Univer-sity Program Bureau furnished, a most hilarious hour of entertainment. entertain-ment. Department officers who attended attend-ed and spoke briefly were Commander Com-mander Clark Cheney, Service Officer Of-ficer Art Horsley, Rehabilitation Chairman Roetta Kilfoyle and Vice President Martha Stewart. District IV officers were Commander Com-mander Angel Caras, vice commander com-mander Larue Thurston, auxiliary president Hannah Matthews, and Americanism chairmen Karl and Lela Banks. Local Legionaires and auxiliary ladies not previously mentioned included: in-cluded: Glen Matthews, Mr. and Mrs. Viron Washburn, Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Gibson, Mr. and Mrs. Glendon Liston, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Peterson, Mr. , and Mrs. Ernest White, and Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Anderson. |
