Show People Invited to Hear Mendelssohn Chorus This Sunday The Mendelssohn Chorus, which is comprised of 40 experienced and talented male singers, will present an evening of sacred music in the Second-Fourth ward chapel Sunday Sun-day evening, March 27. The program, pro-gram, sponsored by the Ward MIA officers, will begin promptly at 7:30 according to Ford M. Paulson, ward choir director. Director of the chorus is E. B. Terry of Orem, and the accompanist accompan-ist is Mrs. James Norton. Soloist for the evening is Miss Katie Mc-Guire, Mc-Guire, a Heber girl; who is a music mu-sic major at the BYU. Other special features of the program will include piano and organ or-gan duets by Mrs. Norton and her daughter. LeGrande Anderson, Chorus manager, will introduce the various var-ious sacred selections with an interesting in-teresting commentary. Since no regular sacrament meetings are scheduled for Sunday Sun-day night, all music lovers of Tim-panogos Tim-panogos Stake are cordially invited, invit-ed, Mr. Paulson said. |
