Show Firemen's Party On Halloween Held at Station The costumes worn by members mem-bers of the local Firemen and the Firemen's Auxiliary brought laughter to all when they were entertained Thursday in the nearly near-ly computed fire station at the head of Main Street. Long John Silver, Don Hales; Gorilla, Blain Swenson; Pork Chop Pig, Cliff Hales; and the Dancing Girl, Ruth Cobbley, won prizes for their unique costumes. Mrs. Don Hales, Mrs. Max Ferre and Mrs. Von Barnett were in charge of decorations which featured stuffed figures in corn fields, floating ghosts, and a beautiful long serving table decorated dec-orated with the Halloween theme and flower arrangements. 43 metmbers and guests, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Klesmrn, enjoyed a delicious turkey dinner prepared prepar-ed by the ladies under a committee com-mittee consisting of Mrs. Clara Edwards, Mrs. Ford West, Mrs. Robert Marrott, Mrs. Elwood Freeman and Mrs. Blain Swenson. Swen-son. Mrs. William Robbins, Auxiliary Auxil-iary President, greeted members and guests, thanked the committees commit-tees and conducted a brief business busi-ness session. The remainder of the evening was spent playing games under the direction of Mrs. Fred Keetoh and Mrs. Eldon Johnson. Mrs. William Robbins and Mrs. B Cobbley acted as co-chairmen for the invitations. Cliff Hales, Ray Mills and Don Smith made the table arrangements. arrange-ments. The next meeting of the Auxiliary Auxil-iary will be held November 23, in the city hall. |
