Show Weather Quiet, Orderly and Getting Colder During the week ending Monday, Mon-day, ov. 2, the weather in the Pleasant Grove has been quiet, orderly and praotically normal for this time of year. What little abnormally displayed was on the warm side, particularly in the night time temperatures, which were near or slightly below the freezing point. Weather conditions in northern Utah were to say the least, terrible ter-rible and destructive. Winds up to 92 miles per hour ripped thru communities causing damage estimated es-timated in excess of 5 million dollars. dol-lars. Residents of Pleasant Grove might consider how fortunate they really are. The weather week opened on Oct. 27 with a light rainstoim which continued through the early ear-ly hours of October 28. The storm was light and totaled only 0.14 of an inch bringing the total for the month up to 0.31 of an inch. This is muoh below normal. Local home owners were mowing mow-ing and watering lawns Monday which is very unusual for this time of year and fall flowers are still blooming. It was mostly cloudy .early Tuesday morning when this report re-port was written, but the clouds were high.
