Show The December student council has been elected at Grovecrest School. The new studentbody officers of-ficers are Annette Fugal -and Sherry Greene, co-presidents; Roily Elison. vice president; Patty Pat-ty Turner, secretary-treasurer and Laura Wadley, Craig: Green, Shauna Jo Shields, Kent Wad-ley, Wad-ley, Edna Pack, Beverly Hicks, Barbara Thomson and Suzanna Brereton. representatives. The theme for December is "It's better to g'ive than to receive." SCHOOL NEWS Students at Grovecrest, Central Cen-tral and Lindon are currently enjoying the annual Thanksgiving Thanksgiv-ing vacation. The teachers are just resting in anticipation of the pre-Christmas activities. ESN The Sixth Gradoi-s of Walter Reimschiisel's room at Central are writing to the Foreign Nation Na-tion Consulates at Washington, D.C., asking for material for their social science studies. ESN - One hundred .seventy mothers and daughters attended the Fifth and Sixth grade fashion show at Central School on the afternoon -of Wednesday, Nov. 19. A talk was given by Mrs. Lucille Page, public health nurse and light refreshments were served. Mrs. Ora Thome served as chairman. ESN The PTA meeting on Thursday evening, Dec. 4, -will feature a program by the Fifth Grade at Central School. "Our American Heritage is the theme to be developed de-veloped in song and story. ESN Parents will please take note that students individual photos will be taken at Central School on Thursday and Friday, Dec. 4 and 5. ESN Committees are currently being be-ing organized at Central School for special decorations and pre-Christmas pre-Christmas activities. |
