Show Reception Held At West Home for Young Couple The Salt Lake LDS Temple was the scene of a very impressive mar-;age mar-;age ceremony on Friday when Donna Louise Hatch exchanged nuptial vows with Dr. J. Robert .West. Elder Harold B. Lee officiated. Among close relatives witnessing the ceremony were the bride's parents par-ents Mr. and Mrs. E. Seville Hatch of Colcnia Juarez, Chihuehua. Mexico, the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Junius A. West of Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove, Bishop and Mrs. Wm. West of Fullerton, California ; Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Halliday of American Ameri-can oFrk, and Prof, and Mrs. Bryant Bry-ant Jacobs. Following the temple ceremony, the entire party were guests of the bride-groom's parents at a weddino- breakfast at the Doll House. On the evening of the same day, the bridal ooavple were honored at on open house reception in the beautiful garden of the bridegroom's bride-groom's parents in Pleasant Grove. Tha radiant bride received t'rien:"'S in a floor length gown of Nylon tule and Chantilly lace over taffeta. A small chape.au of Chantilly Chan-tilly lace enhanced with pearls and sequims, held in place her veil of sheer illusion. She carried a bridal bouquet of orchids and stephonatos. Attending the bride were her three sisters, Misses Antoinette, Mareia Marie, and Elizabeth Hatch. Assuming best man duties for his brother was Dr. Wm. West of Fullerton, California. The young couple were assisted in receiving by their parents. Mrs. O'dell Christensen, the groom's sister haniHed the guest registration, while O'dell Chisten-sen Chisten-sen and Kay Jacobs greeted guests as they entered. The newlyweds are currently are honeymooning at Acapidco, j Mexico. On June 8 they will be honored at a wedding reception at the home honeymooning at Acapulco, Mexico Four babies were blessed in the two Lindon Wards Sunday, two b'ys and two girls. Charlene Os-ttrgaard, Os-ttrgaard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mack Ostergaard, and Layne Evan Batty, son of Mr. and Mrs. Blain Batty, were the two Lindon Ward babies blessed and named, Lindon Second ward infants given a name and a blessing were Robin Hard-man, Hard-man, daughter of Mr. and Mrs George Hardman, and Brian Kell Edwards, son of Mr. and Mrs. Max R. Edwards. Relatives who visited with the Blain Batty family Sunday wre Mrs. Catherine Rasband of Heber, 1 Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Batty of Trovo, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Rasband of Ple.-usant Grove, and Mrs. Jane Par-cell Par-cell of Provo. Mrs. Parcell is the 'groat-grandmother of the Batty's new son, who was blessed that day. |
