Show Couple United At Home Wedding Saturday Evening In a simple but elegant arranged home wedding, Miss Branda Warner War-ner on Saturday evening, became the bride of William Alfred! Austin. The lovely affair took place at the home of Mr. andl Mrs. Jerry Hill on Third East, at 6 p.m. Bishop Keith Miller of the Second Ward offioated. Only relatives and close friends witnessed the ceremony. For her marriage the bride donned don-ned a giown of white lace with Cumberland and veil of sheer illus-sion illus-sion fell from a small crown of pearls and sequims. She wore a single strand of pearls and earned a bouquet of orchids and -white gumelia. Her sole attedant Miss Judy Hill wore deep orchid crysellyn carried a basket bas-ket taf purple and white iris and gladioli. The groom's brother, Earl Francis Fran-cis Austin served 'as best man. The bride's mother, Mrs. Ada-bel Ada-bel Warner of Rochester, New York, wore white linen and the groom's mother) Mrs. EdUth Wart iof Palmyra, N. Y. chose beige linen. lin-en. Both pinned ion orchid corsages. cor-sages. ' Following the ceremony lig'ht refreshments re-freshments were enjoyed. From 8:30 until 10 p.m. the newlyweds received friends at an open house reception in the Second-Fourth Ward chapel. Among other out-ofJtown guests who came to honor the bridal couple were Mrs. JoAnne Thompson Thomp-son and Dick Willets of Logan; Dr. and Mrs. Bryant Jacobs and Dr. and Mrs. A. P. Christensen of the BYU faculty; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Anderson of Spring City. The young couple are currently honeymooning at Camp Timpan-ookee Timpan-ookee in American Fork Canyon where they will spend the summer and Mr. Austin will be employed. |
