Show Three People Hospitalized As Result of Automobile Accident On Lindon Hill Last Tuesday Jack West, Pleasant Grove, who, with two girls from Springville, was hospitalized in Utah Vailey Hospital Tuesday after an auto accident which make junk of five automobiles on Lindon Hdl, was reported as "good" late Thursday. The two girls, Marie Fullmer, 18, and Alice Erickson, 19, were reported by hospital attaches as "fairly good" late Thursday. Two other persons involved in the crash escaped with only cuts and bruises, and were not hospitalized. hospi-talized. Both were drivers, along with West, with cars involved. They were J. C. Coloer, 19, Provo, and James L. Westenscow, 19, of Provo. Besides the three cars involved with occupants the wreck battered batter-ed two unoccupied police cars as an aftermath. The mishap occurred, according l to State Highway Patrolman Jul ian Fox, when Mr. West, alone in i his car, apparently dozed at the I wheel and crossed over into the lane of the opposite - bound car driven by Mr. Westenscow. At this point a machine driven by Mr. Coloer crashed into the rear of the Lindon Lin-don police car, knocking it.70 feet into the rear of the Pleasant Grove car. Mr. Coloer escaped injury in-jury but Miss Erickson, riding with him went to the hospital with a broken leg, broken nose and lacerations. Coloer's car was damaged dam-aged to the extent of $400, with damages of $300 estimated for the Pleasant Grove police car and $800 for the Lindon car. |
