Show The Central School P. T. A. To Meet Monday Evening With the theme "The Citizen Chd His Destiny A Free World" the Central School Parent-Teachers Association will hold its first meeting of the year on Monday evening, October 1st, according ac-cording to Viola Beers, recently elected president of the organization. organizat-ion. The meeting will be held at 8 p. m. at the Central School. The program will consist of greetings and address of welcome by President Presi-dent Beers, after which the program pro-gram of the year will be outlined, and problems pertaining to the activities of the PTA will be discussed. dis-cussed. Mrs. Beers also reports that the new officers of the PTA are very proud of the new class rooms, and the new lunch room, and especially invites the parents to attend the meeting Monday, to meet the teachers and make an inspection of the new addition to the school. Other officers for the year are: Vice President Daphne Westover; Secretary - Treas., Thersa Smith; Health & Safety, Gladys Friant; Program, Maymetta Johnson; Membership Chairman, Leda Thorne; Project and Refreshments, Refresh-ments, Erma Klemm, Mae Morgan; Mor-gan; Room Representative Chairman, Chair-man, Arlena Atwood. Mrs. Beers and her group of officers of-ficers extend a special invitation to all parents of Central School children to attend the meeting on Monday. |
