Show Two Major Events Scheduled Next Week In Concert Series Two major events of the Brig- , ham Young Univesity Commun-1 ity Concert Series are scheduled in Provo during the forthcoming week. On Wednesday, Oct. 28, Devi Dja and her famous troup of Bali-Java Bali-Java dancers will appear at 8:15 I p.m. in the BYU Fieldhouse On Thursday, Oct. 29, William Olvis, tenor, will present . a morning concert in the -Fieldhouse at 9:55 a.m. Miss Dja, frequently called the Pavlova of the Orient by critics, is the world's most renowned interpreter in-terpreter of the ancient and exquis-ito exquis-ito Hnnnp.thpntfp art of Indonesia. She has carried this art to the four corners of the globe through concert con-cert tours, motion pictures and television, and has received the highest acclaim. She and her company com-pany are the only group to embrace em-brace all the varied and richly contrasting dance traditions of the many islands of Indonesia. The group features the stately court dances of Java, temple dunces of Bali, and primitive village vill-age dances of Sumatra and Bar-nco. Bar-nco.
