Show Timp Stake Relief Societies To Hold Opening Socials Relief Societies throughout the Timpanogos Stake are scheduled to open their year's work on Sept. 29. Third ward Relief Society will hold their opening social on Sept. 29, at 2 p.m. in the ward chapel. There will be a progrnm and refreshments. re-freshments. All Relief Society ladies lad-ies and friends are invited, says Mrs. Mattinson, president. The Second Ward Relief Society will begin their season's work with a social on Tuesday, Sept. 29th, at 2 p.m. There will be a brief introduction in-troduction of lessons by class leaders, followed by a program and refreshments. Manila ward Relief Society will entertain all ladies of the ward on Wednesday evening. Sept. 30, at 7:30 p.m. Visiting teachers will be especially honored. Program, games and refreshments will be enjoyed. en-joyed. In the Grove ward, a fitting social soc-ial is being arranged for the opening open-ing social on Sept. 29th. The newly sustained officers of the Fourth ward Relief Society are mustering their forces to prepare pre-pare their opening social. Owing to other circumstances no definite defin-ite date has been set. Lindon ward will meet for a social hour on Sept. 29, at 2 p.m. Each class leader will give a brief review of the lessons for the coming com-ing year. This will be followed by fun, songs, readings, and refreshments. refresh-ments. All ladies of the ward are invited. - Regular meetings in all wards will begin on Tuesday, October 6, except Fourth ward, which will meet on Wednesdays. Officers of the Lindon ward Relief Society are asking all Relief Society visiting teachers to meet at the Relief Society Hall, Friday evening, September 25, at 7:30 p. m. Matters of vital importance will be discussed. |
