Show Local News I i Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Hilton, Mr. and Mrrs. H. C. Robertson, and Mr. and Mrs. Milton Adamson left here early Sunday moming and motored to Bicknell, where they were dinner guests and enjoyed the afternoon with Mrs. Hilton's sister and brother in law, D. R. and Mary Allen Brinkerhoff. Mr. and Mrss. Merrill N. War-nick War-nick spent the week end in Logan. On Friday evening as guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Walker they attended the Friendship Banquet of the 132 Quorum of Seventy. On Saturday morning Mr. Warnick attended a Board of Directors meeeting" at the U. S. A. C, while Mrs. Warnick visited friend-j. In the afternoon they saw the football foot-ball game between the A. C. and Montana and Saturday evening were guests at a luncheon of Mr. Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Rich at the Rural Arts building. Mr. and Mrs. Rich have recently returned from a trip to Europe and showed interesting in-teresting colored slides taken during dur-ing their tour. The Archie Boren family met I Friday evening at the O. L. Swen-son Swen-son home in another of their delightful de-lightful family parties, this time 'in compliment to the birthday anniversaries an-niversaries of Mrs. Swenson and Glen Boren. Two large birthday cakes graced the dinner table, where covers were laid for Mr. and Mrs. Archie Boren, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Boren, Mr. and Mrs. O. L. Swenson, Mrs. Veronica Kirk, Mr. j and Mrs. Lavell Boren, Mr. and Mrs. William Butt, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Boren, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Adamson, and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Boren. Later the evening was pass i ed playing 500 with Mrs. Archie j Boren wiiming the ladies and Mr. William Butt the gentlemen's prize, Grant Adamson won the consolation consolat-ion prize. |
