Show PI. Grove News Mr. and Mrs. John Christensen of Carvallis, Oregon are spending a month in Pleasant Grove, the guests of Mrs. Edah Allred. Miss Mary Deane Poulson entertained enter-tained a group of young friends at a delightful hallowe'en party on Saturday at her home. The rooms were fittingly decorated with autumn aut-umn leaves, among which crept witches, spooks black cats etc. to embue the guests with the proper spirit. The young guests were all costume-d in fitting attire, and spent a most delighful evening in games, after which a warm lunch was served. Guests included: Shir-leen Shir-leen Clark, Loraine Roberts, Mar-cia Mar-cia Wadley, Betty Page, Kathryn Merrill, Pearl Beck, Mary Weeks, Pat Hillman, Dena Beck, Bonny Winters, Ray Brown, Dan Atwood, Jimmy Richards, Mark Radmall, Wayne Peay, Guymon Adams, Gordon Adams, and Douglas Beck. To celebrate the finish of their crowded rationing week, the Lindon Lin-don school teachers and their partners part-ners enjoyed a waffle supper at the school house last Friday evening. even-ing. Present were Principal and Mrs. Elwood Baxter, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Pederson, Mr. and Mrs. Christensen, Mr. and Mrs. Mratell, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. J. Peterson, Mrs, Martha Johnson, Mrs. Norma Hales and Calvin Frandson. Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Lowe entertained en-tertained at a family dinner on Sunday in compliment to their son Lieutenant Julian Lowe of El Paso, Texas, who is spending a furlough here and who recently was promoted promo-ted from Second Lieutenant to First Lieutenant. Covers were laid for Lieutenant Lowe, Miss Nola Kotter of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Cassity and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Cochron and children Carolyn, Joyce and Brent of Trovo Mr. and Mrs. Lowe and Howard Lowe. |
