Show PI. Grove News Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Smith were visitors here on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. H. W . Clark and sou Roland spent Monday in Salt Lake City. Wm. J. Robbins is confined to the American Fork hospital recovering recov-ering frtno a major operation, performed per-formed last week Private and Mrs. Owen Green, of American Fork were guest Satui--day evening of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Way-ne Richins. During the past week Mrs. Eval-yn Eval-yn Bush was happpily surprised by a visit from Private Bud Hurst of the army air corps who is enjoying enjoy-ing a visit here. Private Hurst will return early next week to Camp Hondo, Texas, where he has been stationd for the past eight months. Mrs. Ed. Homers returned last week from California where she spent two weeks. At Los Angeles she visited with her sister Mrs. Madsen and at Burbank with her brother Marion Brandon and family Mr. and Mrs. Harold Bullock and family spent Friday in Salt Lake City. After attending to business they were guests of Mr. Bullock's brother and sister in law Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Bullock. Mrs. Howard Peterson and baby left Wednesday after spending a week with her sister and brother in law, Mr and Mrs H. C. Robertson. Robert-son. Mrs. Helen Radmall will leave here Friday evening for California to visit with her husband Private Marvin Radmall who is stationed at an army camp there. Mrs. Eva T Fage spent three days last week in Salt Lake City, with her son in law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. John Conway. Mrs. Inez Olpin entertained at a family dinner on Sunday in honor of her son Louis Olpin's birthday anniversary. Covers were laid for Mr. and Mrs. Louis Olpin and family, Mr. and Mrs. Owen Ash and family,, Mrs. Lacey White, Mrs. Belle Hanson, Miss Estelle Fen ton, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hunter, and family and the hostess. Mrs. Ira Nelson has just received receiv-ed word from her two brothers: Private William L. Brandon stationed stat-ioned at Jefferson Barrracks, Missouri, Mis-souri, saying he was well and doing ine and reportimg that he went into the service December 30., and from T. C. Orson Elmo Brandon came word that he had just been nromoted from Private to Technical Techni-cal Corporal at Camp Crowder, Mo. Both are enjoying the army. |
