Show County Agent Urges -Hat Control Pointing out that rats carry infectious jaundice, bacteria responsible re-sponsible for some cases of food poisoning, bubonic plague, typhus ty-phus fever, rat bite fever, rabies and trichinoise, E. Ashton, assistant county agent this week urged the control of rats in Utah county communities." - Mr. Ashton explained that several of these diseases occur in Utah and nearby areas, and that others may be brought here by troops returning from war areas in which these diseases occur. "From the standpoint of health protection as well, as from need for food conservation, every rat killed is a contribution to the war effort, the county agent pointed out.
