Show With The Service Men PFC. Harold Clark returned Saturday to Wendover, after vis-itng vis-itng here with his wife and son and other relatives. Mrs. Delilah F. Bunker has recently rece-ntly received a letter from her husband, Corporal H. Merill Bunker, Bun-ker, telling her of his safe arrival in the Aleutian Islands. Word has been received by Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Fugal , that their son Dale has been advanced to Sergeant. Sergeant Fugal is training train-ing with the - U- S - Marines 4 at Jacksonville, Florida. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Devereaux recently received a letter from their son Vfern, in which he states that he is 'well and happy and sends greetings to all his friends and home folks, as he is too busy to do much writing. Vera, who is with the.U. S. Navy somewhere in the Pacific war zone, says he hopes the war, will soon be over and that he is doing his best to speed the day. ' . i Naval . Aviation Cadet Harvey Lynn Christeisen, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. R. Christensen, Pleasant Grove, Utah, has ben ordered to active training duty -at the Naval Flight Preparatory School at San ! Luis Obispo, California. Cadet Christensen will be given preliminary ground school instructs instruc-ts at San Luis Obispo. Subsequent instruction will be received at a War Training School,, a Navy Pre-Flight Pre-Flight School, and Navy primary and advanced flight training bases. |
