Show Services Held Sunday For Herman Green The spacious First Ward Chapel was filled to capacity Sundy with sorrowing relatives and friend who came to pay final respects to the1 memory of Herman Green, life long resident of this city and for many years a trusted employee em-ployee of the Utah-Idaho Sugar Co.; and to express sympathy for hiflfnmilv . - Th impressive service directed by Bishop J. A. West, opened at 2 oclock, the first number being a a vocal solo, "Absent" by George Olson, accompanied by Irwin Jen-' sen. Invocation was offered by Victor Anderson of Vineyard. First speaker was Joseph Olpin, whose remarks were directed mostly to the three young men in uniform, two sons and one son in law oi Mr. ureen. Jesse R. Walker, fellow employ- ee of the Utah. Larson, a brother of Mrs. Green. I Pall bearers, sons of ihe departed depart-ed were Rav Green of Rexburg, Idaho, Archie Green of Pleasant ' : Grove, Milton Green of Lehi, Sgt. Russell Green of the U. S. Army, Nyle Green of the U. S. Navy, and Vance . Green of Pleasant Grove. . Mrs. Clinton Gunderson and Miss Pauline Gunderson of Salt Lake City, spent Sunday here with their sister and brother in law, Mr. a.pd Mrs. H. E. Bradley. " ' Vaughn Abbott of Reno, Nev- ada visited Monday with his sister in law, Mrs. Delilah F. Bunker. Mr. Abbott, who is Bishop of the Reno ward came to Utah to attend the L. D. S. general conference. A of Bunkerville, Nevada, who visit- . ed her over the .week end and got acquainted with his hew grandson, Roger Bunker. .Mr. ' Shell of Bridgeport, Conn, called one day this week at the J. P. Fugal home."- He is a co-laborer co-laborer with Roy Fugal, in the Bridegport branch of the ,L. D. S. . ' Mission. Rov, who is a son of Mr.' and Mrs. J. P. Fugal, is Personnel Per-sonnel Director of the General Electric Company there, but still finds time to serve his church as President of the Bridgeport branch. - Mr. and Mrs. J. P.' Fugal and Mrs. Anna F. Bailey were made very happy the past'week by receiving rece-iving three long distance telephone calls, each from different parts of the country.
