Show Local News Items and Mrs. Alfred Rogers and little daughter Glenna of American Fork visited Tuesday evening with Mr. Rogers parents Mr. and Mrs. Mrs. A. J. Rogers. Mr. and Mrs. Deleo Hermandez have a new son, who arrived Dec. 15th at the American Fork hospital I Mr. and Mrs. M. G. Crandall are happy overthe birth of a son at the American Fork hosiptal on Tuesday, Dec. 19th. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. J. Peterson attended the banquet of the 20 year men of the Ironton plant held last Saturday. The banquet was held at the Memorial hall in Springville and was attended by men who had been employed at the Ironton plant for 20 years or more. The Primary children of the Second Sec-ond ward were most royally entertained enter-tained Tuesdav afternoon at the ward recreation hall, when the officers of-ficers and teachers entertained at the annual Christmas party. Alter preliminaries with much choral singing and a fine Christmas story by Mrs. M. S. .Christiansen, old Santa Claus himself entered and distributed bags of candy, nuts, and cookies, even forgetting his dignity to dance with the happy youngsters. I Mrs. Pearl Wadley celebrated her birthday aniversary last week. One evening her family came to her home to celebrate the event and enjoy a family get-to-gether, at a delicious hot dinner. Present besides besid-es the honored hostess were Mrs. Oral Wright, Miss Beverly Wright, Sergeant and Mrs. Gordon Wright, Mr. and Mrs. Nyal Wadley, Mrs. Merle Coombs, and Virgil Coombs 'of Pleasant Grove, Mr. and Mrs. La-vere La-vere Wadley of American Fork, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd B. Adamson, Mrs. Mildred A. Mitchell, and Misses Misses Elaine and Beth Adamson all of Lehi. The following afternoon a group of close friens of Mrs. Wadley came bringing luncheon and good birhtday wishes to Mrs. Wadley, Wad-ley, and spent the a'ftcrnoon sowing sow-ing and knitting. |
