Show Glen A. Boren -1 i i , I j Glen A. Boren recently recalled to military service is confined in Camp Station Hospital at Fort Riley, Kansas suffering from an injury to his" knee. Glen enlisted in the U. S. Navy in June, 1941, and spent three months in training at San Diego, California. He was discharged to returni home in September of the seme year. On March 4, 1943 he reentered service, and snent two weeks at Fort Douglas Utah. He was assigned to the parachute division div-ision of the U. S. Army, and sent to Fort Riley, Kansas. A son of Archie and Myrtle Day-bell Day-bell Boren, he was born at Charleston, Charles-ton, Wasatch County, Utah, on August 13 1923. The family moved mov-ed to Pleasant Grove the following summer, and Glen received his education edu-cation in the Tleasant Grove schools. In high school he was interested in-terested in basket ball, and was affiliated with the Future Farmers of America. Asa member of the T,. D. S. P. O.
