Show HONOR ROLL Gordon Wright, son of Mrs. Oral Wright of this city, left here on Monday to enter the U. S. army at Fort Douglas. Mr. Wright is a graduate of the Pleasant Grove High school, and served two years in the Eastern States LDS mission mis-sion field. At the time of his induction in-duction into the army, he was a student at the Brigham Young University and was one of the 150 reserves of that school called to report for duty on April 12. Merrill Eldredge Wranick, son of Mr. and Mrs. Merrill N. Warnick, who left Monday to enter the U. S. army at Fort Douglas. Young Warnick was a freshman student at the B. Y. U. and was among the 1150 reserve stpdents called for induction in-duction this month. Wm. James Richardson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. M. Richardson of Manila was inducted into the U. S. army on April 5, left on April 12, to receive his assignment at Fort Douglas, after spending a short furlough with his parents here. His wife will return to her parents in Chester, Utah. Mark Gammett, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Gammett another reserve re-serve student at the B .Y. U. was fdso inducted in the army on April 12th. Mr. Gammett, 'who for the nast few years has been a resident of Las Vegas. Nevada, visited there last week with his wife, who will make her home there. Verl Jacobs, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thn-5. Jacobs of Orem was another B. Y. U. student who received his induction orders on APril 12. |
