Council 0. K.'s Appointment Of Night Marshal Mayor O. DeVere Wootton's appointment ap-pointment of Francis Anderson as city night marshal was confirmed by the city council, at a special session Tnursday afternoon. Mr. Anderson will succeed Night Marshal Wendell Bush, who has accepted ac-cepted a job at Neldon Birk's mine at Soldier Summit, 'where he will be in charge of construction work. The appointment will be effective Saturday night, when Mr. Anderson begins his duties. Starting Wednesday Wednes-day night, he accompanied Night Marshal Bush on his rounds, becoming becom-ing acquainted with his duties. The new night marshal is well known here, and well qualified for the position. He has been employed employ-ed at the Utah State Training school for several years.
