Show Scout Program Well Received In Second Ward An anniversary Scout program in the Second ward drew a large and appreciative audience. The services ser-vices were prepared and presented by the boys of troop 21, under the direction of Scoutmaster George Barton. The flag ceremony and pledge of allegiance was led by Lyman Robertson. Rob-ertson. The troop then sang "Star Spangled Banner." The invocation was given by troop committeeman Reed Peterson. The boys of the troop presented the Scout laws. Registration certificates were awarded to all registered Scouts. Demonstrations in first aid were given by Grant Anderson, signaling. signal-ing. Norman Wright and Richard Paulson; fire building, Bill Robinson; Robin-son; knots, Arden Meeks and Douglas Doug-las Clark. Scout Commissioner Ertman Christensen gave an inspirational talk, followed by an appreciation of scouting and the boys of troop 21, by George Barton. A scoutmaster's minute of inspiration, inspir-ation, in -which all . scouts joined, Was led by Mr. Barton. The closing prayer was given by Ford Paulson. |
