Show Beehive Girls to Have Special Activity Week Plans are being made for a full week, May 6th to 12th of activity, in honor of the organization of the Bee-Hive which took place twenty years ago. Like scout work the girls in the Bee-Hive are advanced when a given task is performed- The Bee-Hive is divided into three fields, the Builders of the Hive, Gatherers of Honey, and Guardians of the Treasure. In each field there are nine cells each girl must fill, and in addition to these she must fill at least two cells in each of the seven fields of activity Religion, Re-ligion, Home, Out-of-Doors, Domestic Domes-tic Art, Health, Business and Public Pub-lic Service. When a girl has completed com-pleted these requiremnts and reached reach-ed the age of fifteen years she is ! advanced into the Junior girls department- The activity plans will cover one week beginning with programs in each ward, and ending with Swarm Day and a program in the tabernacle. taber-nacle. Stake Bee Keepers Myrtle Seastrand and Haydee Iverson are in charge and urge the girls to complete the work on their symbols sym-bols so that a display can be arranged ar-ranged for Swarm Day. I o |
