I Miss Mildred Chipman, who has been visiting in California for the past two months, returned home last i Thursday. She visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lennis Abel and o'.her friends. A meeting of the Service Star ladies will be held next Wednesday in the City Hall at 2 p. m. All members are urged to be in attendance to aid in the election of officers for the coming year. Some special music has been arranged for. Mrs. Lennis Abel of Huntington Park, California, is visiting here at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. K. J. Bird. Mrs. Abel was formerly form-erly Miss Helen Bird and her many friends will be pleased to learn she will be here until Easter when she will return to her home in California. Califor-nia. Dr. P. M. Kelly and son, Howard, visited Monday in American Fork. Late in the afternoon President and Mrs. Clifford E. Young, Mrs. Maude Christensen and Mrs. Joseph Nich-oles Nich-oles accompanied the Kellys to Salt Lake 'and remained with them until time for their train. Dr. and Mrs. Kelly and daughter, Connie, will visit their other daughter, Eleanor, in Washington, D. C, prior to their leaving on April 20th for the Swiss-German Swiss-German Mission where Dr. Kelly will act as mission president. Howard Ho-ward returned to St. Anthony, Idaho, where he is employed. |
