Show F. E. R. A. Projects Approved In County State approval of five new projects proj-ects providing for the expenditure of $17,099.66 of which $11,575-45 is for labor, was received Saturday at the Utah county FERA office, W. Lester Mangum, county relief administrator ad-ministrator announces. The largest project, for road and sidewalk improvements in Payson provides for the expenditure of $7,-866-48. Of this amount $5,185 is for the employment of 55 men. The project provides for the hauling of 5,500 yards of fill, moving 5,000 yards of earth for sidewalks and street fill. Roads and sidewalks are to be graded and surfaced with pit run gravel- Culverts also are to be replaced and ditches repaired- A total of $4,395.59 will be expended ex-pended for the grading and surfacing sur-facing of the Saratoga road, which will employ 22 men, and $2,336.90 is to be spent for bridge construction construc-tion and rip-rapping in American Fork. A total of 35 men will be employed. Other projects are flume and syphon repairs in the Elberta irrrigation district and salvaging of approximately 1,000 feet of three and four foot spiral riveted steel pipe at Mosida, expending $1,824 45, and employing 15 men. |
