Show Funeral Held for Peter Adamson Jr. Funeral services were held last Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock, in the First ward chapel for Peter' Adamson, Jr., resident of this city, who died suddenly at Kamas where he has been employed, Wednesday of last week. Mr. Adamson died of a heart attack. O. C Mercer of the First ward bishopric was in charge of the services ser-vices which were well attended. There were a number of lovely floral flor-al offerings conveying the sympathy and respect of the friends and relatives rela-tives for the bereaved brothers and sisters. The servicss opened with a violin duet "Perfect Day," played by Misses Miss-es Helen and Irene Johnston, accompanied accom-panied by their mother, Mrs. J. W. Johnston. Prayer was offerad by Lenard S. Harrington following . which Mrs. Adair Bromley sang' "The Lord Is My Shepherd," Miss Helen Johnston accompanying on; ttie violin and Miss Melissa Greenwood Green-wood on the piano. The speakers were former Bishop James T. Gardner of this city and Bishop Burns of the Bountiful Second ward. Mrs. Bromley sang as the closing number "Guide Me To Thee" after which David H. Adamson of Highland pronounced the benediction. Interment was made in the city cemetery where the grave was dedicated dedi-cated xby John R. Hlndley of Salt Lake City, former American Fork bishop. Mr. Adamson was born at American Amer-ican Fork and was a son of Peter Sr. and Anna Cousens Adamson. Surviving are a son, J. L. Adamson of Salt Lake City; a daughter, Mrs. E. L. Williams of Bountiful; five sisters, sis-ters, Mrs. Thomas Thornton of Iona, Idaho; Mrs. Rass Green of American Fork; Mrs. P. H. Donahue of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Roy Lot of Lehi and Mrs. F. Killingworth of. Los Angleles, California. |
