Show Pleasant Grove Locals Frank S. Humphries visited with the old folks crowd Wednesday. Mrs. Nina Lee visited over Sunday Sun-day with relatives at Spanish Fork. Mrs. Soren Sorenson and son Duane of Bingham, visited with Mrs. Bertha Deveraux Tuesday. Mrs. Guy Sorenson of' Salt Lake spent Monday and Tuesday with her parents, Mayor and Mrs. W. W. Lim. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Burch and family spent Sunday at Payson, here they attended a reunion of the : :-rguson family. Mrs. Justin Peay and son Buddy f Garfield, are visiting with Mrs. Peay's mother, Mrs. Margaret Wilson. Wil-son. James A. Nelson spent the past week at Salt Lake City with his daughter, Florence. H. W. Jacobs returned the first of the week from Twin Falls, Idaho, where he has been on business. Mrs. Alice Goldsworthy of Bingham Bing-ham is spending the week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Sjoberg. Miss Thelma West spent part of the week visiting! with her sister, Mrs. Earl Hawkins and family at Provo. Mrs. Mary Olsen returned home Sunday after spending a week at Magna with Mr. and Mrs. Roundy Thorne. Mrs. Lettie Houston who has spent the past few years in California, Cali-fornia, is visiting with Pleasant Grove friends. Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Hilton are rejoicing re-joicing over the arrival of a little nine and a half pound son, born Monday, June 18th. Mother and babe are doing nicely. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Nelson and family of Grace, Idaho, are visiting here with relatives and friends. Mr. Nelson is attending a special summer sum-mer school in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Warnickand children and Mr. and Mrs. Warnick Swenson attended the Klnathan Eldredge family reunion at Liberty Park June 19th. . C. L. Wright, manager of the Pleasant Grove Canning company, and Hugh Wadley left Friday morning morn-ing for California to bring back a load of machinery for the cannery. Among those attending summer school at the Brigham Young University Uni-versity are Leone Told, Marjory Holdaway, Orin Holdaway, Helen Smith, Emma Bush, A. P. Warnick, Mildred Swenson and Elwood Baxter. Bax-ter. . . Mrs. Mae Grua was a Pleasant Grove visitor Monday. Miss Hazel Aagard of Fountain Green, visited Miss Helen Weeks Wednesday and Thursday. The home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Fage was the scene of a jolly family gathering Sunday. Mr. and Airs. Bert Frampton and little daughter of Provo, visited Sunday Sun-day with Mr. and Mrs. V. N. Mr. Rulon Lim and son of Idaho, have returned home after spending a few weeks with relatives and friends in Pleasant Grove. The 4-H Cooking club of the Manila ward met at the home of Helen Warnick Tuesday evening. Club leaders are Loraine Swenson and Helen Monson. Mr. Eldon Pack, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl W. Pack, was married Wednesday, June 20th, to Miss Eulah Smith of Lehi. A reception was held at the bride's home. Tuesday evening Mr. and Mrs. Ole Christiansen, Mr. and Mrs. Parley Christiansen, Errol Christiansen, Mrs. Norma Adamson, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Walker and Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Walker attended a shower at American Ameri-can Fork. Mrs. Annie Oler and daughter June, of Cove Fort, visited the past week with Mrs. John C. Nelson. Mrs. Leah Holindrake and daughters, Rhea and Beth, were visitors at the Nelson home Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Farmer and family of Provo and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Barratt of American Fork, were Sunday visitors at the home of Mrs. Mary Wadley. Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Brimhall and family have gone to Taylor, Arizona, for the summer, where Mr. Brimhall will give piano lessons. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Peterson will occupy their home during their absence. Mr. and Mrs. James D. Thorne left Saturday for an extended trip, they will go to Chicago to visit the World's Fair and purchase a new car, then motor on to Washington, D. C, where they will visit with their son Wendell and family. Mr. and Mrs. A. K. Thornton, Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Larsen motored to Salt Lake Sunday to meet Mrs. H. M. Vance of Oregon, who will spend the summer at the Thornton home. Miss Angelinc Warnick left Saturday Satur-day for Seattle, Washington, to attend at-tend summer school. She was ac-campanied ac-campanied by her parents, Mr. and Mrft. C. L. Warnick. who will return after a short visit. The club attended at-tended the show "Beloved'' which was given under the auspicious of the Stake M. I. A., after which they adjourned to the home of Mrs. Clark where refreshments were served and i social hour enjoyed. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Dickerson, Wesley Dickerson. Mrs. Eileen Murray, Mur-ray, Mrs. Lucile Parduhn and Mrs. Loraine Binch attended the funeral services of Mrs. Wiley Cragun, who is a relative of the Dickerson family. fam-ily. Dr. and Mrs. A. Roy Olpin and family of Charlotte, North Carolina, visited the first part of the week with Mrs. Alvira Olpin, mother of Dr. Olpin.
