Now ' (Taken from files of June 21, 1924k For the third time In three months burglars, thieves, dope fiends or persons per-sons of like caliber broke into the Thornton Drug No. 1 Thursday night and made away with all the narcotics, five dollars in change and minor articles in stock. Entrance was gained by cutting away the molding on the front door and pushing push-ing back the night lock bolt. Ten Years Ago Now Oliver E. Thornton, 76. pioneer of 1852, was laid to rest in the city cemetery cem-etery Monday following services held in the First ward chapel. Mr. Thorn- ton died of a paralytic stroke following fol-lowing a long illness. Ten Years Ago Now Several community floats are planned for the gigantic Fourth of July parade to be staged here. A baby phi was born June 10th to Mr. and Mrs. E. G. Thomas of Salt Lake. Mrs. Thomas formerly was Miss May Hutchings of this city.
