Show Sales Classes To Get Under Way For Utah County General business classes will start in Utah county with the opening of a general salesmanship class Wednesday Wed-nesday evening at the Provo high school, H. E. Johnson, county vocational vo-cational coordinator, announced Tuesday. The classes are sponsored jointly by the school districts of the county and the state department of public instruction, with federal aid. All residents of north Utah county in- terested in the vocational class in salesmanship are invited to register for the course, Mr. Johnson said. W. E. Eliason of Salt Lake City will be the Instructor, coming hinhly recommended to take charge of this work. He has been in charge of the sales work for the Skaggs system for some time, conducted classes for the Utah State Grocers' association, taught general salesmanship classes in Bingham, Ogden, Logan and Salt Lake City, and headed the department depart-ment of procedure practice and planning for the Home Owners' Loan Corporation at Washington, D. C. Other classes in the salesmanship and business line will be organized as the demand for them grows, Mr. Johnson said. Those planned will give instruction in sales work for druggists, grocers, furniture dealers and others that arc requested. |
