Show Annual Exercises To Recognize 60 For Achievements Annual achievement exercises of the Pleasant Grove-and Lindon 4-H clubs, marking completion of the season's work, will be held tonight at 7:30 o'clock in the Timpanogos stake tabernacle. The general public pub-lic is invited to attend. A feature of the exercises will be a display of work done by 4-H club members, including bottled fruit, recipe files, needlework, record books, and other projects. Dresses will be modeled by the girls. - Pins and certificates will be presented pre-sented to 60 club members and leaders who have completed their work and records, by Junius A. West. Miss Bessie Kirkham, county coun-ty home demonstrator, will give a talk on the fine work done here. The exercises will open with the first-year clothing club singing the "Song of -Health," and community singing. A report of club activities and achievements will be given by Mrs. Mabell Jense, followed by a five-minute talk on "What Club Work Means to Me," by Florence Jense. A talk on "What Club Work Means to the Community," will be given by Mrs. Myrtle Green, and "What Club Work Means to the Home," by Mrs. Meeks. The Kour-teous Kour-teous Klothing Klub will sing "Dreaming," a musical trio of Mary Jo West, Marilyn Richards and Katherine Kirk will play. The presentation pre-sentation by Bishop West, and the address by Miss Kirkham will con-I con-I elude the exercises. |
