Show Kettle Moraine In Wisconsin Between Fond du Lac and Sheboygan, She-boygan, Wis., is an area known to geologists as the kettle moraine, says a survey of Wisconsin's natural nat-ural wonders by the American Chemical society. The region resembles re-sembles the deserted kettle holes of Paul Bunyan's lumberjacks. The kettles appear like the Interior of volcanic cones, except that they are only a few hundred feet across, are from 50 to 200 feet deep, and have their steep slopes covered with trees. |
