Show I Mrs. Mary Cooper had as her guests Friday and Saturday, her I mother, Mrs- Eliza Lewis, and her j sister, Miss Ruth Lewis of Salt Lake City- The Annual Sunset Rally was held at the Manila ward last Sunday Sun-day evening. The chapel was pack-I pack-I ed to capacity- Due to bad weather this was the first out of fourteen rallies to be held in doors. The new officers of the Second Ward Primary are: President, Mrs-Helen Mrs-Helen Partington, with Mrs. Stella Peay and Mrs- Vera Matthews as pounselors and 'Reva Mitdhiell as secretary. The first primary of the season was held Tuesday afternoon. The second ward M. I. A- will present a good program in their monthly conjoint meeting Sunday evening, the date being advanced ad-vanced a week on account of conference- 'The Timpanogos Stake Primary Board entertained at a social Wednesday Wed-nesday evening at the home of their president, Mrs- Hedve Christiansen, in honor of Mrs. Mabel Swenson. who was first counselor and choris- ter of the stake organization, and who is leaving Saturday, with her husband and son, to make their home in California. The evening was spent in games under the direction direc-tion of Ruth Peay and Electa Mon-cmi Mon-cmi -Mrs Swenson was presented i with a gift in appreciation for her labors in Primary work- Dainty refreshments were served- Tire members of the Primary Board are: Mrs. Hedve Christiansen, MrsLaura Robertson, Mrs. Mabel Swenson, Mrs. Rose H- Smith, Mrs. Electa Monson, Miss Louise Christiansen, Miss Ruth Peay, Mrs. Mabel Thorne, Mrs- Eva Adams, Mra. Rose Bezsant, Mra- Cummorah CulUmore, Mrs. Ethel West, Mrs- Lillian ElUs and Mrs. Bertha Gray. |
