Show of Miss Naomi Driggs, president of the club. During the day the .new members wore their presses backwards and wore odd hose and. shces. At night, the girls paid their fees and were pledged into the club. A few stunts were "pulled", on the new members. Everyone present had a good time. The tryouts for the "yell masters" for the Pleasant Grove High school for the coming year were held Friday, Fri-day, September 21st. Miss Bonnie Jensen and Miss Venice Lundberg were chosen as'the "yell mistresses" for the coming' year. ..' Wanda Cullimore, : High School Reporter. PL Grove News ! i HIGH SCHOOL NOTES The Girl's Athletic Association will be headed by the followhtg officers this year: Wanda Culli-; more, president; Josephine Farr, vice president; Beth White, secre-1 tary; Madge Kirk, recording-secretary. These officers chose the following fol-lowing girls to act as sports managers man-agers for the year: June Bunnell, kickball; Mary Jacobs, baseball; Francis Kitchen, volleyball; Naomi Driggs, basketball; Leah Bezzant, tennis; Mary Peay, dancing; Beth DeCamp, swimming; Vivian Burch, roller skating and bicycle riding; Hazel Carlson, hiking and archery. During the year each of these girls will conduct a class series of the games under her supervision.
