Walton Wal-ton entertained at a 7 o'clock dinner din-ner party at her home Friday. Mrs. Elden Chipman was hostess to the Feality club, on Thursday of last week. The luncheon was carried car-ried out in Easter colors. Bridge was played, Mrs. Ronald Bate, Mrs. Henry Chipman and Mrs. Stanford Wilde winning the prizes. Mrs. Bate was the special guest. Brown spent Friday of last week in Salt Lake City. There they did research work at the Genealogical library. They were luncheon guests of Mrs. Francis Burton. Mrs. Lillian K. Brown, Mrs. J. L. Dunkley, Miss Margaret Dunkley and Miss Cady Dunkley visited Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Dunkley at Spring-ville, Spring-ville, Sunday. They were dinner guests there. Miss Nina Halliday will leave tomorrow to-morrow (Saturday) with a group from Salt Lake City, for Long Beach, California. In the Coast city they will attend the western division di-vision convention of the national association of music teachers. Miss Mildred Chipman started work this week as salesgirl at the Griffin bakery. Members of the Thimble club participated par-ticipated in the temple excursion on Friday of last week. The regular meeting was held Wednesday evening eve-ning . of this week at the home of Mrs. Francis Abel. Mrs. William Coates is spending the week in Salt Lake City, visiting her daughters. Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Masters and daughter Annie of Bingham called on Mrs. June S. Wright, Wednesday. Mr. and "Mrs. O. L. Snow and daughter of Elmo visited over the week-end at the horns of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Spratley. Mrs. Ada Baker has returned to her home in Salt Lake City, after a three weeks' visit with her sisters in American Fork. Mrs. Leo Nelson entertained at a1 bridge party and waffle supper, Saturday evening. In attendance were Mr. and Mrs. Walter B. Devey, Mr. and Mrs. D. Grant Ingersoll, Dr. and Mrs. Culver Anderson, and Mr. and Mrs. Nelson. Mr. and Mrs. A. Johnson and Miss Ida McLane of Salt Lake Cy visited Friday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Jensen. Visitors in American Fork Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Anderson of Ogden, former residents of this city. Mrs. David Warnick entertained the Young Bridge club at her home, on Friday of last week. Mrs. Kenneth Ken-neth Robinson was a special guest. Prizes were won by Mrs. Earl Chad-wick Chad-wick and Mrs. Leon Parduhn. The regular monthly meeting of the American Legion auxiliary unit will be held at the home of Mrs. Ernest Parduhn this evening (Friday), (Fri-day), at 8 o'clock. I n |
