Show 175 Children To Participate In School Operetta Celebrating the completion of the new Central school auditorium, students stu-dents of the First, Second and Third grades will present an operetta, "The Honey Pirates" tonight (Fiday) at 8 o'clock. The production will be the first to be staged in the new auditorium. audi-torium. Proceeds from the operetta will go toward furnishing the auditorium. The admission charge will be small. More than 175 children will take part in the two-act operetta, with Betty Jo Page as the Queen of the Bees. Faculty members directing the operetta are Elroy Murdock and Helen Devey, music; Leone Told and Emma Bush, speaking parts; Vera Wagstaff and Nell Adamson, costumes. cos-tumes. Building operations have been virtually completed by Wade Brothers Broth-ers construction company of Ogden. Final details and cleanup work are now being completed by the company, com-pany, after two months of remodeling remodel-ing and new construction. The auditorium takes in half of the bottom floor of the school building; build-ing; it contains a stage 16 by 28 feet, and a room 64 by 28 feet. A kitchen adjoins the auditorium. |
