The organization for buying sheep and goats will consist of a Regional Office located in Denver, Colorado; the state director will be the same as with the cattle program, and all business will be transacted through consist of the county agent and one or mere men who will be termed a 'Sorter." BAI inspectors will not be used in the sheep buying program- The comity agent and sorter sor-ter will arrange with the owner for the location of the sheep and goats at the time of inspection or sorting- The buying of sheep will be under un-der the direction of county agents with the sorter handling the inspection in-spection and buying. Tire Sorter and assistant Sorters will be appointed ap-pointed by the state director from a list recommended by the state, county, or regional sheep associa- tion to ine sxace aneeuoi. The Sorter will designate those animals condemned and those fit for food. The condemned' ones will be killed by the owner under the direction of the Sorter- Before sheep and goats can be bought it will be necessary for own-i own-i ers to list their animals for sale with the county agent. Sheep Form .No. 2, which is an application for selling sheep to the government must be made out in advance by each farmer desiring to sell- The county agents will supply these ewes over one year old and female angora goats over one year old will be purchased.- No stunted lambs, kids, wethers, or bucks will be accepted. A flat rate of $2 per , head for sheep and $1.40 for goats ; will be paid- |
